RUYZDAEL
Ruyzdael is the name, philosophy, and brand founded by three gentlemen with roots in hip-hop/street culture. They go way back into the future. By combining music, design, art in an entrepreneurial spirit, they collaborate with other brands like Patta, Sonos, Jägermeister to deliver output: vinyl, video, online activities, events and clothing. An identity based on ‘binary’ concepts such as black vs white, on vs off, yes vs no. Not having a logo or set typeface but a handwriting style as the most recognizable element in all communications.
One of its three founders also happened to be the founder of UNDOG aswell and therefore responsible for design and creative partnerships. Read what NRC shared with the rest of The Netherlands here.
